I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and also used their catering service. While the service and staff have consistently been excellent, I feel the food could use some improvement. The chicken salad, for instance, lacks flavor – I expected to taste some seasoning like salt, pepper, or celery seed, but it's mostly just mayonnaise, chicken, and other ingredients like fruits and nuts. Additionally, the chicken and dumplings are too watery for my liking; I prefer a thicker broth. It's not terrible, and I will eat here if others select it, but given a choice, I'd prefer to go somewhere else.
I overlooked their closing time of 8 PM and arrived at 8:03. To my surprise, the owners were just about to leave but noticed me and kindly made suggestions from the menu before deciding to serve me. They even said, "We want to serve you." I was truly impressed! The food was so delightful that I ended up dining there two days in a row. The grape salad and Fancy Nancy are my top picks for now. The decor is lovely, and it’s a great spot for a quick meal. I tried the jalapeno chicken salad served in a croissant, along with a chicken tortilla soup. Both were fresh and tasty. One of the best features is that they allow you to sample the salads before placing your order. It’s a pleasant place to relax and spend time with friends.

I absolutely love eating here! It was my first time in the dining area, and I had a great experience. All the chicken salads are amazing, but the Olivia? Old South is definitely my favorite! It's definitely worth the price, and you can eat until you're fully satisfied. I always leave feeling very happy after my visits!
I have been to a Chicken Salad Chick location in three different cities across two states, and I have consistently found them to maintain high quality. My favorite chicken salad is the Fancy Nancy, and the pimento cheese is also really delicious. The iced tea is always fresh, and the service is outstanding!

My current favorite dish is the Jalapeño Holly served on a croissant. The mac and cheese is decent, but I wouldn't reorder it.
