Before trying the Fish n chips from this restaurant, I was skeptical as it can be difficult to find a good serving of fish n chips on the coast, cooked the way I like it (battered and slightly underdone). However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything was cooked perfectly and the portion size was generous. The fish (shark) was delicious and the staff was great. The wait time was average. This restaurant has now become my favorite place for Fish n chips.
Delicious. This eatery is under estimated. Because of the road works currently going on people are avoiding Chickery Chick and they shouldn't be as the food is delicious. Its not far from the beach and is open from early breakfast until late dinner. All food is fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the extra little bit of effort it takes to get there at the moment. Its times like these we need to support it more :
Awesome food, great service all day brekky is a great addition. Place could be a little bit cleaner but not bad for a shop that offers so much variety, from chicken all the way down to all day brekky, salads, chips, steak sanga, Hamburgers, Fried food and barista coffee. Recommended for all tourists and I'm sure locals know the spot.
Convenient location, good/cheap food. Neat little chicken n' chips store not far from the beach. Great to stop off here for lunch then take a stroll down to the sand. All of the meals are quite reasonably priced, and the staff are always full of smiles. Reserva una mesa ahora
Dropped in today for a Chicken, Mayo, Onion toasted samich. Leaving this review because it was gooooood. Cafe quality and good value. Service was tops. Wanted to drop in for another on the way home but traffic was usual issue. Thanks guys.
Very impressed by the freshness and quality and taste of the food here, the charcoal chicken was on point, chips were cooked fresh and with great seasoning but there gravy was a standout. Not to forget, the prices are low.
Been going here for the last 23 years still the best chicken and chips on the gold coast. Fresh chicken and freshly made chips always worth it
