I had the most wonderful experience there. Stopped by to hear my friends, Fred Johnson and Michael Ross. You KNOW that was off the chain! And the food...I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to choose, so I went with the suggestion from my waitress..who by the way was very nice and helpful in describing each dish I thought I might want to try. To make a long story short, she suggested the platter which includes (3) entrees. I couldn't stop eating the first dish to get the next one, And each one got better than the entree before. this restaurant with lake is located near the st. petersburg warehouse art district. it is a couple of miles from tropicana field and next door to the dr. carter g. woodson african american museum it has been a common site for eight years. the sections are satisfactory. eating is tasteful, even if it is heated to home (don't forget their sauces. the brotpudding has one as well as fish) ask her to warm up the sauce that goes on her brotpudding. just a bit. and porcelain it (they are welcome). prices are competitive. on the back is a sufficient parking space. at present they only offer the execution of the order. therefore, an internal fit is not present. but they allow them to eat on their te...

We stopped by on a rainy afternoon and we were seated immediately. Valerie took the time to learn our names and engage in some light conversation. Her service was absolutely outstanding and prompt. By the time we left I felt like I was leaving an old friend. The food was wonderful, prepared with love and attention. You can tell this a business takes great pride in their work. The space is beautiful as well, and the garden patio is a beautiful addition to their dining space. The dirty beignets we're so delicious! The Sunday platter was wonderful (don't sleep on the greens!

Just had the Creole Trio with jambalaya, gumbo and red beans and rice. The food is phenomenal! Kenny and Terrell are the best and treat you as if you are family. I highly recommend this place and they have great outdoor seating and authentic indoor seating and decor as well. Takes me right back to Nola! Thanks gentlemen and keep up the Great ambiance. I'm here twice and I'm not sure why I'm not going more often. eating is always super tasty. I had awarded the shrimp cheese grits and my husband had the jambalaya delicious, but very sharp and we share a side of mac n käse of the ambiente is wonderful, we enjoyed the terrace. the service is very friendly and always attentive. we're coming back!

Went for the first time with a very large family group ,some who were repeat customers. What a wonderful dining experience. The food was great, the service even better. Down to earth, friendly, and humorous. They made our family feel right at home. And did I mention that the food was great?
