I'm really upset with myself that I haven't reviewed Chik Chak yet. I come here once a week and am nothing short of addicted. The falafel is arguably the best I have had in New England so far. I always get the same thing the baba and hummus salad plate with falafel. They load up your plates with plenty of hummus and baba to give you tons of flavor. I hear great things about the chicken schnitzel, but haven't had the pleasure of trying it yet because I am not able to pry myself away from my usual order. Chikchak has some of the best Israeli style falafel in the Boston area. Today I tried the Shawarma Falafel Hummus Salad Plate, which was a lot of food and made me feel better about spending $13 at a food truck. The hummus is thick and delicious, but it clings to the takeout container like freshly applied mortar. The shawarma was well seasoned, but it wasn 't traditional shawarma on a vertical spit. It was disappointingly dry (but tender) pieces of turkey that was more reminiscent of two day old carnitas than shawarma. I usually travel to Cambridge pretty begrudgingly, except on Mondays!! When Chikchak is in Harvard Sq, I can't cross the river fast enough. Everything on the menu looks incredible and tastes even better! The chef definitely know what he's doing! My go to is the shnitzel- (so juicy), but I don't complain when he puts a couple felafel balls on the side. I would brush my teeth every morning with that homemade hummus if it were socially acceptable. Food-10, service-10!!
I had the chicken schnitzel pita, and it was fantastic! The schnitzel was lightly breaded and incredibly flavorful. The tomato and cucumber salad was fresh and refreshing. The hummus was thick and delicious, though my only complaint was that it was mostly concentrated at the bottom of the pita. The service was lightning fast; my pita was ready just seconds after I finished paying. I would definitely come back to try their falafel!

I would go to the ends of the earth for another falafel pita from this food truck! It was simply extraordinary, pita and all! The best part? Just when I thought I was finished with the falafel and would only be left with bread and hummus, I found two more delightful little balls of chickpea goodness to enjoy! And I’m convinced the hummus had a hint of roasted garlic in it—or something similar. It was absolutely delicious!
I often stroll through town with my dogs, and I always get excited when I come across the Chik Chak food truck. It's the ideal spot for lunch! I really enjoy their pita and hummus. I also encountered the truck at a local charity event, where I learned they had generously donated their time and food to support the cause. I truly appreciate businesses that give back to the community!
Love love love. This food truck is amazing. Never a bad meal here. I absolutely love the chicken schnitzel with the tomato and cucumber salad. Pita is soft and delicious and the hummus is really good.
The food is delicious! The ingredients are so fresh. The food is so flavorful. The Felafel was light and crispy. The service is great. It awesome to get such yummy wholesome food on the fly.
