Mix feelings about this place. 1st I visited was on a weekday for lunch.. it was quitter and my friends and I had a nice service and to be honest the food was QUITE GOOD. I was very excited to bring my boyfriend to try so I choose a Saturday afternoon to invite him over. We went on Saturday and I was VERY DISAPOINTED. No body great us.. No body told us were to sit after waiting for 3 4 minutes (waiters were talking in a corner some of them).. so I thought ok.. we will pick any table... Being on the table.. the waitress ignored us.. we probably waited for 10 minutes... the restaurant was probably at 40% capacity.. but I had to tell one of them hey we sit here because no body greet us waiter s...
We didn't have a good experience at Chilcano's last weekend. The food was not what I expected since Peruvian food is so good. My husband had to wait over 40 minutes for his Jalea while the rest of the table was served promtly. The next table received their Jalea in less than 10 minutes. When we asked, the server said the cook had to cook sea food at once and that's why my husband had to wait. That is an unacceptable answer. I won't return to your place and make sure my friend's won't return either. In addition your AC does not work and you automatically charge 20 to the bill and extra when we sign the bill. How in the heck does this place get below a 5 star for anyone? Maybe this was under different management/ownership recently. That?s only reason I can think of or the impression that it?s some trashy night club. I?ve been in dc for over 12 years and havebeen here twice in last three weeks and have orders different dishes each time. Legit Best meals I?ve had in my 12+ years ofliving in the DMV. THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE. Portions are huge and cooked perfectly. My girlfriend is from Peru and says it?slegit best Peruvian food she?s ever had. Stop in for dinner, you won?t be disappointed.
This review isn't about the food, which was actually quite good. However, the service was extremely slow. If you decide to visit, don’t expect the usual timely service; it seems they operate on "island time." I’m not sure if I’ll return, primarily due to the service. I believe the servers are doing their best, but management really needs to support their staff better. They appear to be understaffed and not adequately prepared for a full dining experience.

The food was exceptional! At the conclusion of our meal, Will invited us back, which added a personal touch that makes me want to rate it 4.7. Although we had to wait a little longer for our food, it was definitely worth it. Everyone on Instagram and other platforms has been asking about the dishes. I highly recommend trying it. The service from our waitress was a bit slow, so don't go if you're in a hurry, but the food is truly delicious.
This review is not for the food. The food was good. The services however is very very slow. Do not come here anticipating normal time service. They move on island time i guessed. I really doubt i will come back just cause of the service. I feel is not theservers fault but management really needs to do better by their employees. They are understaffed. Not equipped for a full dinein experience.
I went to eat there on a weekend. The food was amazing. I ordered the Ronda marina and their Ceviche was one of the best ones I?ve ever tried. The service was also very good, our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. Our drinks and food came out quickly without any problems. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try authentic Peruvian food.
This place has grown so much over the last few years. The food is always delicious and the environment just keeps getting better and better. The staff is really nice and very helpful.

The service was friendly and quick! There was very little wait time. It was my family's first visit, and the server was great about answering all our questions about the menu.
