Chili's Grill Whittier

I've been coming here for quite a while and have always had a positive experience. However, during a recent lunch happy hour with a group of eight, we encountered some issues. Three members of our group arrived early but were not allowed to be seated until everyone else showed up. They ended up waiting for 30 minutes, and we all waited nearly 40 minutes in total to be seated. Additionally, we were informed that we wouldn’t be able to enjoy happy hour since we weren’t seated in the bar area, which was surprising to me, as I usually sit there for happy hour. Everything else was great, except for the nachos, which I found to be quite disappointing—they tasted like they were microwaved.

On a positive note, our server was excellent. However, the bathroom left much to be desired; it was a mess and, once again, there was no soap. I informed one of the cleaning staff about the soap issue twice, but nothing was done. One of the soap dispensers was still broken, just like it was three weeks ago when we last visited. Speaking of our last visit, I ordered a margarita that was served in a martini glass (yes, a martini glass), and the shaker was broken, causing it to leak everywhere when I tried to pour it. It was the worst margarita I've ever tasted, clearly not crafted by a trained bartender. Overall, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere.

We were greeted by TWO people at the door, and they couldn't have greeted us with any more warmth and welcome. In fact, every employee we encountered was extremely pleasant. We were seated immediately, were served quickly, didn't have to wait very long for our food, and were checked up on frequently. The three of us very much enjoyed our food (two of us had ribs, and one had fajita). The interior of the restaurant was nothing to shout about (it's rather basic), but it was clean and in excellent repair.

The food was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the asparagus was the talk of the table. The only issue would be the steak I had to send back twice for being overcooked (burned) even when I asked for rare it still came out brown from the inside. Besides that and Happy Hour only being available if you sit in the bar, I would come back again. Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant is fantastic. The servers and hosts are friendly and attentive. The food is consistently delicious, and the portions are generous for the price. Overall, it offers great value. There’s also a nice selection of options to choose from.

You cannot beat Happy Hour Sundays! The good is good as ever. You can catch your favorite game and have a few drinks without going broke. Good deal!
