I cannot understand how the culinary desert can be so pronounced a few kilometres from Cologne. Here too, unfortunately, it is so, a typical China restaurant from the 80s, the use of glutamates makes it natural edible, frozen goods everywhere, combinations that could not be worse, a facility that has also been inhabited for several years and yet, somehow nice, the services that food, somehow you have not expected to land in the star restaurant, so it fits, operation very friendly, price/performance ratio incredible. If one of the following generations might ever try to redesign the kitchen and the interior, it would be a top address, so just a shop if once again desires the good old times an...
We know the restaurant of 1989 and have always had good experiences here so that we have kept our loyalty for decades... What we've seen now makes the barrel out of the ground... we had to wait more than 2 hours for our food, the orders just arrived cleckish and there was always something missing. You could have ignored all that if the store had been sturdy, he wasn't, more and more dishes were taken out of the house and zig people came after us, but got their food far ahead of us... Only when we threatened with him it came to eat at short notice. Long speech short, it can't be, no apology at all... It's a pity that you deal with long-term customers, but you won't see us anymore...
The gastronomic diversity in Königsdorf is not very large and Chi Wan also acts from outside rather inconspicuously with the abandoned room on the upper floor. But inside there is a good, cozy Chinese restaurant. People are friendly, the dishes are a bit more authentic than most China restaurants in Germany (although not at a level as in the Great Wall in Cologne) and the price-performance ratio is more than fine. Koon-Po-Ngau, Sha-Cha-Kai and Chap-Cam-Shi-Chiu are particularly recommended. From Monday to Saturday there is also a nice selection of lunches incl. Beijing soup or spring roll at very fair prices.
Commercially, for several weeks, I had to go to Königsdorf and unfortunately I had to find out that I was in a gastronomic nobody's country. Not so in the China Restaurant Chi Wan. The restaurant has come a little into the years, but the food is excellent. Here is freshly cooked! The service is super nice and the kitchen meets every extra request. It would be nice if a Pilsbier would be offered in addition, instead of only the monopolist slender of the region.

A restaurant with a cosy ambience and a welcoming and friendly service. Although Corona cannot be eaten locally, the team convinces with a good concept for pickup. The dishes are well portioned and always fresh. Spices is also good, neither too sharp nor too lazy. I'm happy to be able to eat normally on site. Only the beautiful aquariums that used to stand in the restaurant I miss something. Otherwise everything is perfect!
For many years we have been visiting this restaurant. The dishes are always very well prepared, the service very nice and personal and the ambience beautiful. Over the years we have often eaten in Chi-Wan. The restaurant offers a cosy ambience. The service is always friendly and friendly. At the moment the food can only be picked up.
