I checked out the comments before visiting and I can confirm that the owner is a genuinely nice person. He really took the time to point out the best deals on his menu. The food was quite good too. The only downside was that my husband ordered shrimp lo mein, but his dish contained only a few shrimp. Also, be aware that there are no tables or chairs for dining inside, although it seems there used to be some a long time ago. I noticed signs at nearby restaurants that said “NO LOITERING. POLICE ARE ON NOTICE,” so it seems like the neighborhood may have had some issues with certain customers in the past.
Order boneless spareribs, chicken wings, chicken fingers, and pork fried rice. I ordered my food around 3:40 because they open at 3:30 and I assumed the food would be fresh. My order was made from left overs (rice, wings, and boneless spareribs) from the night before or even longer. The chicken fingers would give anyone a heart attack. If you look at the photo with all grease that is from the chicken fingers. When I realized despite how much I tried to squeeze the grease and it remained I threw it away. The food looked and tasted a few days old. Disgusting!
Having the opportunity to explore various types of Chinese cuisine around the world, I can confidently say that this restaurant has far exceeded my expectations. I am a huge fan of this place. Whenever I crave quality food at a reasonable price, I always reach out to China Se Restaurant on Blue Hill Ave in Boston. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable.
The food was delicious and the portions were huge! The price was lower than other Chinese food around but the prices were incorrect on there online menu. I chose this place because they had a meal deal but when I went in they said the didn't have it and everything was a bit more expensive. The saving grace was that the food was very good.

Whoever answers the phone is quite ignorant and hurried when taking orders. I specifically told Unjuu not to include shrimp in my food, and she even wrote it down. However, when I received my order, it was covered in shrimp. It's frustrating to have to repeat such a clear request!
food is amazing , you can tell they use fresh ingredients , and also take their time one everyones order. food comes very hot fresh. never had a bad experience with there food , very quick and great prices.
Food here is absolutely terrible. This place clearly serves processed frozen food. To make things worse, they used my credit card for someone else's order. Absolutely horrible!
I absolutely love the food at this restaurant! I frequently come here to eat, and I always enjoy it. The service is quite good as well. Their lo mein is fantastic!
