URGENT PLEASE READ I am currently in the ER with my son. We have a annual Christmas day tradition to have Chinese food for dinner. My son had a bad allergic reaction eating shrimp egg rolls from China Star Chen in East Stroudsburg, Pa. He is severely allergic to seafood. We have gone there for YEARS. I called them to ask them if they gave us shrimp egg rolls and they said they did. I did order shrimp combinations but they ALWAYS gave prok eggrolls with the combination plates so our guard was down and thought nothing of it. CAUTION CAUTION DO NOT EAT FROM CHINA STAR !!!!!! DIRTY CHINESE ppl working here. I ordered food from here a few times and every time I eat from here I get sick . I don’t think they are very clean as far as handling food . I’m going to put them on blast . I already called the board of Health and complained about their filthiness. Completely unacceptable, they DO NOT handle food with care. If you don’t want to get sick ? don’t eat from here ? ?️
Best Chinese food around. And with a drive thru? Was just there last Thursday,I'm in Mt Pocono and when I go for appointments in stroudsburg,it's for sure I'll be picking up thru the drive thru.
I decided to give this place another chance, but unfortunately, I got really sick again. I don't recommend eating here; it's better to go to Golden Chef instead.

Food is good. Way too expensive. Got two combos chicken cow mein combo and general tsos chicken combo) and paid 29.00! Woman at service window rude!
The food is delicious, and it tastes good. I like to get the broccoli and chicken with pork fried rice ?? and they are great
