This place is small and no one else dined in when we were there, but the phone rang off the hook and the doorbell often sounding. The most significant detail I want to mention is the portion size. WOW! I’ve never gotten so much food for my money at a Chinese restaurant. The food is literally served in glass pie plates, to give you an idea of size. It was tasty, too! Many vegetarian options. Veggies were crisp and not overcooked too, which is another great plus!
Nice little place. Pretty much empty at 7pm on a Sunday, but there were plenty of take-out orders heading out the door. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. The service was... quaint. Personally, I have family who grew up working in their parents' Chinese restaurant, so when I see kids working in a place like this I find it endearing. But they're not seasoned professional servers by any means. Very friendly and helpful, though.
In March 2022, I noticed they raised their prices twice, which isn’t surprising. However, they’re still reasonable in my opinion. I’m taking away one star because they’ve forgotten my egg rolls during my last three visits. To the owner: I always order multiple items, including a lunch combo that should come with egg rolls. I should probably check at pick-up, but I usually realize it only after I get home.
My wife loves their egg rolls. I have had several of their dishes, General Tso's, Sesame Beef, Chicken Broccoli, and all are great. I absolutely love their fried rice. I work in Reisterstown and apparently all the Chinese restaurants around here need to go back to fried rice school. Order anything on the China Village menu and you won't be disappointed. They have indoor seating but refused to allow me to dine in so I went somewhere else. It is more of a carryout place but since they do have a dining room and I wanted to enjoy hot food I was a bit put off that they simply refused to seat me. I think that they should remove all the tables if they don't want to seat
I just adore the food here! I get carry out from here on the way home from work. I've never had a bad meal here. The people who work here are kind. I wouldn't eat in because the atmosphere isn't great, but that's not really the point of this place. It's just good food, good service, convenient. Love it
Ordered online on a Saturday Night. Food was done fast, hot, good priced, and great taste. The Lady working the front was very nice and Thanked us repeatedly. Wish I lived in the area. We go to soccer tournaments in the area and will be back. Thank you.
I placed a pickup order and was pleased to find that the food was ready quickly by the time I arrived. We ordered the Szechuan shredded beef and moo goo gai pan, and as always, the meals were excellent. Reserva una mesa ahora
The chicken wings were excellent, and the pork egg foo young rated a solid 8 out of 10. The staff was very friendly, and they offer delivery to a pretty good distance.
