The food was good, as it usually is at Chipotle. But, the online pickup system is a disaster. Knowing they get busy, I made an online order for 10 meals at 10:37am, for a pickup time at 11:20am, and arrived at 11:30am. I didn't leave until 12:30pm. When I left, the online pickup crowd was twice as big as the stand-in-line crowd. There was no organization or direction. Names weren't announced when a new order was set on the shelf. And for a large chunk of time they quit making online orders all together. I want to start by saying that I have faced countless disappointments with the service and taste at Chipotle over the past year. However, during my visit on 6/30, I finally found a location that reminded me of the beloved Chipotle from the past. The gentlemen working that night were not only very nice, but they also took my request for double meat seriously (which I often don’t receive despite paying for it). They were accommodating, and the food they prepared was excellent; it's been years since I enjoyed a bowl as good as this one! The restaurant was clean, and the service was quick. I really want to thank this location for the experience I’ve been missing out on.
The new garlic steak is actually quite delicious, and I appreciate that it's made with fresh ingredients, which is something I usually miss out on. My only complaint is that they didn't have any fajita mix available. It used to be good, but it seems that either they were short on ingredients or simply chose not to make it, which meant my girlfriend couldn't have any to take home. Additionally, I noticed that the prices have increased, like everywhere else, and the new steak is nearly $2 more than the regular one, which seems a bit excessive. Despite these issues, I had a pretty good experience overall—my first in quite some time!
They prioritize online orders much too much about the people who actually come. Manager needs an introduction class for food management. Not exaggerated the line moves at 1 person per 4 minutes. It was very hard to watch as they show 8.9 online orders between each person in line as the picture shows. If you are not on your personal guests, close the online orders down or minimize the amount that comes so that your staff can hold with both. Or close your doors of personal orders. The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly, but I often find that there’s a long wait for lunch. They prioritize online orders, which can be frustrating. I've noticed that other Chipotle locations have a separate prep table for online orders, but that’s not the case here. The line frequently stretches to the door, so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes during peak hours. However, the workers do their best to move things along as quickly as they can.
