We are regular at Chiquttos leicester with atleast one visit a month if not more . We have always had excellent service always . This time shockingly it was not at all upto the mark . The person serving us looked bored , detached , did not follow the instructions with regard to food order . As it took so long for food to be delivered and due to our previous good experiences , we did did not create a fuss . We ordered for hot sauce . This always used to be brought separately but when we reminded the person who served us about this , she just pointed at the Jalapeno bottle at the table . Arrived at 19:40 on a Saturday with no booking. Told half hour wait for a table which seems pretty standard for just turning up on a Saturday night. Had us seated approximately 20:05. Host took us to our table, was lovely and explained the allergens advice to my partner. Waitress assigned to our table had absolutely no confidence, was very quiet and hardly able to hear her. Food order taken at 20:15, at 20:45 no food, waitress explains there had been a backlog in the kitchen and our food would be out shortly. Group of us met for drinks meal Nice interior About 70% full Drinks took totally ages Ages before we could order food Food then took ages Out of 7 people one dish was cold another dish was wrong Took ages to correct When we eventually got the bill they had overcharged by duplicating the dishes that were wrong eg charged for 2 dishes when it was just one adding about £30 to the bill This was corrected after we pointed it out A few things going in here If your a group they want to keep you there as long as possible in hope you keep ordering alcohol , then hoping you’ve spent loads of money on their over priced drinks they’ll also attempt to over charge you on the food as you’ll be slightly to...

Popped in here with a large table of 16 for a works meal. We arrived and were seated very quickly. Staff were nice and friendly. Our orders were taken quickly. Menu has been reduced since I was last there although the new menu still offers some good options. Drink selection at the bar is good and they do have cocktails. When the food arrived it all came at once and the whole table was able to eat together. Food was very tasty and we had no issues what so ever. Extremely dissapointed, after being a loyal customer to chiquitos for over 5 years I came tonight for a treat, when we walked in we were waiting for 10 minutes before even being seated or acknowledged, we where then sat and waited for half an hour no one took a drinks order or yet alone a food order, Not one staff member apologised for the wait or said thell be over soon, got up and left not satisfied. Will not be returning ever again !!

I came to the restaurant with 5 other friends for a celebratory meal, and I was utterly disappointed at our service. Aneta (I believe her name was) was rude to us and even rolled her eyes at us when we would order certain items! She seemed to talk down at certain members of staff and in general was not a pleasant character. It is so sad to see staff act like this.

Was stood at the door for at least 5 minutes before we were greeted and then Was sat at our table for half an hour and no one came and asked for a drink order,food order or to even tell us they were busy. Very disappointed and will not be coming back ever!

Went for meal out as got a voucher to use, absolutely loved the starter and mains . Lovely food and service was very good , nice seeing restaurants fairly busy and not compromising and quality and service. Reserva una mesa ahora

Came here as never been and it was great food, good service. Food portions were a bit big so couldn’t finish it all as we also had starters but overall really tasty will come again.

A group of us visited here and had a great time plus received good service. The food was excellent as my photos will show, so I recommend a visit here if in the area.
