We made a special order of wedding cakes: a mouse cake made of gluten-free silk mousseline and coconut that Davinia has perfectly reproduced, although it has never tasted the original version. She even made vegan versions for our vegan friends. The dessert was amazing and our wedding guests commented that it was the best wedding cake they ever had. Davinia was an absolute dream to work with! Instead of a cake for our wedding, we wanted a doughnut tower which was extremely difficult to find in France. I approached Davinia and she said she thought she could do it and she literally knocked it out of the park! She went one step further and created some vegan ones for me. They tasted even better than Krispee Kremes! She made the tower exactly how I envisioned for my wedding day. It was stunning and faultless! Our guests absolutely loved the doughnuts and they were all eaten. I would highly recommend Davinia to any bride. She is truly talented and so creative.
A really nice place, a good home-made kitchen, 3 dishes for 13 €, we had a charcuterie, a chicken pie and a really beautiful Eaton disorder for dessert, bread and coffee and a friendly conversation with the owner! Treated myself to the Vegetarian breakfast 9,95€ with a Yorkshire Tea at Chloébelle's this morning Dee is a wonderful cook who certainly knows how to cook fluffy scrambled eggs It took me just under 1hr to finish the plate, and now I'm now in a food coma I highly recommend booking in for a breakfast if you're ever in the mood for someone else to do the cooking and washing up after
