The reviews , ranking and hype is all real for this amazing place! We are so blessed to have a spot like this in Union City! As someone who grew up here and have lived here pretty much my whole life was getting tired of sending out of town friends down to Hoboken New Jersey City for true culinary excellence! But having a spot like this couple blocks from where I live as well as couple of blocks from the youth center that we run is more than just a place to have great food but is a sense of pride! The food here was so amazing!!!!! I saw some reviews about the cleanliness of the place and while I do agree it could use a deep clean... the delicious food made up for it. Like they can't be perfect at everything and if they are going to put their energy into a perfectly clean establishment and subpar food VS clean enough establishment and amazing food..... I know what I'm picking! The tacos I got were freaking amazing and I am sad that I live thousands of miles away and will probably never get to eat there again... RIP
Cashier is a very nice, helpful woman who can easily help you if you aren't too familiar with what suits your appetite. Overall, I had a really good experience for my first time trying Birrias. Would recommend others to try them, especially if you are sensitive to spicy foods.Kid-friendliness: Very Family oriented restaurant and saw no issues with children.
Was visiting from Chicago. My cousin I fell in love with this delicious and quaint little spot. Tacos were on point. Service was above and beyond outstanding. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Super disappointed that I forgot to go back for a dozen of their delicious homemade corn tortillas. Definitely would go back.

I ordered the birria tacos and consommé, along with a quesadilla filled with peppers and mushrooms. The flavors were incredible—it felt like magic in my mouth. This was definitely one of the best meals I've had all year, without a doubt. I give it a full 5 stars. Plus, it's a BYOB place, which earns it an extra star!
Such good, authentic Mexican food! I highly recommend the steak tacos. Guac and chips were delicious too. Server was super nice and friendly. They made my birthday dinner very special. Will definitely be back!
By far, some if the best tacos I’ve had. The birria is absolutely amazing. Hand made corn tortillas do stand out too. Very fairly priced and super friendly service. Def going back soon
