We stopped by during the Broadway Street Fair on Saturday afternoon. This was my mom and aunt's first visit, but I've been here a few times over the past few years (although it was my first time back since they expanded).We shared a Margherita Pizza, and each of us had a lemonade and a cookie. This is my go to place for a great espresso, great pastries, and a great pizza when in Saskatoon. Has been since they opened several years ago.Can be very busy at times and its not a big place. But persist. Grab a coffee - espresso is done the Italian way - flavourful, NOT scalding hot, and with the flourish of a talented barista. Christies Il Secundo is owned and operated by the same family that runs Christies Mayfair Bakery which provides Saskatoon's finest artisan bread hands down! There is a reason there is regularly a lineup out the door and it's worth the wait. Not only is the bread here amazing, so are their pizzas, sandwiches and specialty coffees. The owners are amazing people who care about their staff and customers. They put a lot of effort into delivering the best ingredients and service. If you're looking for the best bread in Saskatoon, then stopping here is a must!

Grabbed two pizzas for dinner here which very tasty. They are $14-18 per pizza but they are a decent size and good quality. It closes around 8pm on weekdays so get in earlier. The restaurant is modern and service is great. Reserva una mesa ahora

Il secondo has doubled in size since my last visit. Not sure I like the change. But, excellent latte and saskatoon danish, as usual. Lots of construction road works surrounding area so very limited parking.

Great coffee that is superior to Starbucks across the street. The bakery features amazing delights that you MUST try! It's always busy so seating either inside or outside is at a premium.

The warm hearth, delicious soul food and a fantastic cafe mocha or a glass of wine, this is the best place to chill after a long week. It's often steady, but the ambience is perfect.

My wife and I grabbed a couple paninis to go. They were amongst the best paninis o have ever had. The service was good. Seemed like a nice place. I'll be back for sure! Reserva una mesa ahora

Good for groups. Rented out a large portion for a function. Good pizza. The appetizers were fantastic. The servers did well for a larger group. Will definitely go back.

Christies has an amazing selection of coffees and paninis. They also carry fresh made bread to purchase. This is a great lunch spot !!
