Chubby's - Reserva de mesa

This restaurant serves the worst food I have ever seen. We paid £32 for a meal of fish, scampi, chips, and kids' nuggets, but we had to wait for half an hour despite being the only customers there. When we finally received our food, we found everything was burnt and not even resembling traditional chip shop fare. The scampi was just crispy batter with no actual fish inside, and the nuggets were as hard as rocks. Disappointed, we returned the entire meal and demanded a refund. I would give this restaurant a zero rating if I could! The food was absolutely disgusting and the meat was undercooked. I paid £34 for overcooked fries and rare meat, which was revolting. I do not recommend dining here. The prices are too high and the food is terrible.

Extremely poor. £40 for luke warm, minnow-sized fish at £7.90 each. Derisory quantity of luke warm chips. Mushy peas ok. Sausages luke warm/undercooked. Very disappointing and overpriced. Lowest rated fish and chip shop in South Wight. Steer clear!!

what can I say, apart from BEST chips I've ever had from a chippy. down on holiday for the week and ordered chips twice and both of them were beautiful! booked to come to iow in the March 2022 and can not wait to order again! good the money worth : Reserva una mesa ahora

Visited this restaurant with friends while on holiday. It was the only chip shop open until midnight, and we were pleasantly greeted by the friendly staff. I would give it a 5-star rating, as it is the best chip shop we've tried so far.

I would not say that they were the best fish and chips I had, but they were cooked to order and the staff was friendly and they were also open before their competitors.

Complete waste of money and definitely not worth it. Chips dry and so was the cod. Curry sauce wasn’t very nice. Overall, very overpriced for what it is.

Nice lamb Donner kebab and cheesy chips. Meat was flavoursome and all the toppings and sauces to go with.

we have grilled after chips! freshly cooked and beautiful and hot. had also fish. very tasty. only cash.
