Church's Texas Chicken

The last time I been in a Church Chicken was in Puerto Rico 11 years ago. Watching Nikocado Avocado eating Church Chicken made me want to look for the nearest one. ?? When I'm telling it was WORTH the 40 minute drive. The recepie haven't changed at all. I thought I was going to have to heat it up in the air fryer when I get home, didn't have too. It was still warm so I put 1 minute in the microwave AND WAS STILL CRISPY! The spicy Chicken was awesome. The Mashed potatoes with THAT DELICIOUS GRAVY to die for. The macaroni and cheese was tasty. The apple pie BETTER than McDonald's. One thing I regret not getting was MORE HONEY BISCUITS!!! Only got two and wanted more...soooo good. The lady was...

I used to love Church's Chicken under its previous ownership about five years ago. It seems the restaurant has changed hands a few times since then, and the quality has noticeably declined! I noticed the taste changed dramatically two years ago. They tried a new method of preparing the chicken—baking it, then crushing and frying it—with no seasoning at all. It was awful! I would occasionally get the spicy rice, but after my visit tonight, I’m completely done with this place! The rice I had the last two times left a terrible aftertaste. The cookies, which used to be fantastic, were burnt this time and barely had any honey butter on them. It feels like they really succeeded in driving me away...

I go to the Chicken of this church when I leave New Jersey and go to Philadelphia just because my mother loves Church's Chicken and there is not one near her. Usually she gets the thighs and maybe some chicken fingers. Maybe a cookie on the side with butter. I take it from there directly to Philadelphia, that's probably about 20 minutes. She eats it immediately and she always says it tastes great! I never had problems with anyone working there, they seem polite enough. Sometimes it's hard to understand the accents, but this is America's melting pot and we all have to learn to interact with each other. I've never been a page I don't even know if you can go in. I wanted to go through. Hopefull...

Stopped in because I haven't had Church's in a very long time. The young lady that took my order was informative and kind. She made me fresh food and I had no problem waiting for it. The restaurant was empty but lot of cars outside, I belive they were mobile ordering because the were coming in from the cars one by one and in the app there's offers if you mobile order(smart,I'll know next time to do that). The food was good, the chicken wasn't fried out and very juicy. I had the new smoke house meal by the way(I couldn't finish it lol). So if haven't had it and are thinking about it.... do it! We ordered about UberEats and Church?s forget our four cookies and sauces. The chicken was on the inside pink and hard on the outside fried parts. We ended the entire 16-part box of deals thrown away after we saw the pink inside, and it tasted as if it were sitting under a warmer for a while. The frits, potatoes and Mac and cheese also lubricated. Luckily we had a voucher and decided to reduce our losses and throw away everything.

The food was incredibly juicy, and the staff was quick and very welcoming. I hadn’t visited a Church’s Chicken in a while since they aren’t very common, so I usually go to KFC or Popeyes. I can confidently say that the service speed at this Church’s Chicken is outstanding. I would recommend it to everyone I meet!

First time I've been there in a long time. No familiar faces, I assumed new owner. Tons of chicken sitting there, mashed potatoes pre made and sitting in a heater. Old owner always made the chicken fresh as well as everything else. Did not taste like Church's Chicken I've loved for decades.
