Overall, while we enjoyed the meal, it's important to keep in mind the accessibility issues and the higher price point.
The food was quite nice, but there were too many disappointments! Even though the restaurant was quiet, we waited 30 minutes for our food. No bread or breadsticks were offered, despite the butter pats placed on the table. The wine I selected was unavailable, and the alternative suggestion was £5 more expensive! I ordered the Gnocchi with Chorizo for my main course. While the portion size was just about acceptable, the pieces of chorizo were small and sparse. It felt like the dish was mostly made up of tomato and peppers. Overall, it was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
What a pleasant surprise to discover this charming little restaurant on the Island. The service had a shaky start but soon improved to become very good and friendly. The appetizers were outstanding, featuring great flavor combinations and beautiful presentations. Everyone praised the main dishes, although mine was a bit too spicy for my liking; however, it was plentiful and well-presented. The dessert options could have been a bit more exciting. There were just two chefs in the kitchen, and they did an excellent job! Overall, this is a place I would definitely return to.
This restaurant is always a wonderful place to eat and drink! You’re always greeted with a warm welcome, and the service remains excellent throughout your visit. If you haven't been here yet, be sure to add it to your calendar! They also offer an online booking system for convenience!
