Cidade Velha - Reserva de mesa

my friend and I enjoyed a nice dinner on the beautiful terrace of cidade velha, right in the heart of the old town of faro. the service was very friendly, the background music was pleasant and the eating was very good. I started my meal with a delicious fish soup and as a main course I ordered the grilled otopus. both courts were excellent. I liked the fact that we were able to order wine on the glass and the waiter came and showed us the bottle of the wine we ordered before we pour our glass. most restaurants we visited in the algarve would only bring us a glass of wine without showing the bottle. eating was not unusual, but fresh and very tasty. would have eaten again.

recommend this restaurant. ordered the peri peri huhn and two desserts to share with many appetizers. my friends ordered the cataplana vegetarian court and a grilled fish dish. nothing but great cries of both too! the personal was super friendly. also very cheap!
