Had a really good meal at P'tit Bistró while in Faro recently. It was near the hotel where I was staying by the marina and as the TA reviews were good decided to pay it a visit and I was not disappointed. Shared the beef tartare to start which was as good as I expected , perhaps the smaller size might have been a better option for a starter but it was delicious, the beef tender and soft and full of flavor, just not sure about serving it with fries but they were tasty too , a twist on the original ! Main course of sea bream was great, the fish was cooked perfectly, served with some potatoes and a roasted tomato. An excellent dish which looked good, tasted fresh and a great choice by the sea....
French bistro in Faro out of the busy central old town opposite the Eva hotel. The restaurant is decorated with very interesting artwork on the walls. Excellent fresh local Portuguese and French food. Friendly owner who is prepared to vary the dish slightly to your requirements. I had the small steak tartare as starter with garlic prawns as main. He suggested the tartare was served with salad, which was much better. The bill was certainly not as expensive as suggested from the Tripadvisor page. Very busy and inside tables filled up very quickly. Will definitely be back.
Welcomed by friendly international staff we immediately felt that this would be special. The amuses were a treat and prepared us for things to come... the starters (we choose the carpaccio) were mouth watering, the main dishes were excellent with some nice French accents and the desserts were extremely close to perfection (we give the chef some space to improve although we couldn’t think of anything). The coffee and bonbons (they come in pairs) were just lovely. Very recommended, enjoy and be delighted!
absolutely they love this place. the price for eating for what they get is simply amazing. I cannot recommend the fresh sea bass enough. I really can't stop thinking how good this fish was. has become the simply amazing personal that was so beautiful and attentive. the restaurant itself looks beautiful and is located in a magnificent opposite and the paved road looks beautiful in the evening.
