We rated the overall experience two stars, primarily because of the excellent service provided by the staff. For the food, we give it three stars. The salmon was delicious, and the cheesecake was delightful as well. However, my husband’s steak appeared to have been more boiled than grilled; at first, we even questioned if it was pork. Some of the other passengers' steaks looked better than his, so it might not have been consistent. As I mentioned, the friendly and efficient service deserves five stars! For the atmosphere, we give it two stars, mainly because the train itself was in good condition. However, the view from our window—where we had to stretch our necks to see—was quite poor. The...
The atmosphere was fantastic, but the food didn't quite live up to my expectations considering the price. On the bright side, the service was outstanding. However, I was a bit let down that the singers didn't perform in each car throughout the trip. We only heard one song, and if we wanted to hear more after our meal, we had to move to another train car. If you're hoping to see a lot of Cincinnati, you might be disappointed as well. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the wait staff were exceptional, but I probably wouldn't do it again.
I took my aunt to the Cincinnati Dinner Train to celebrate her 87th birthday, and it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic, sharing fascinating historical details about the train system and entertaining us with songs from the swing and big band era. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I definitely plan to return to the Cincinnati Dinner Train in the future.
We had a fantastic 1940s experience on the Cincinnati Dinner Train. We spent our time in the Oasis Car, where we met and dined with a lovely couple, Jane and Jim. Our conductor, Cody, along with the wait staff, were both informative and kind. The meal was delicious and generously portioned. We thoroughly enjoyed the music from the Queen City Sisters. On July 15th, we enjoyed our third experience on the Cincinnati Dinner Train. We chose to celebrate our anniversary a week early, as our actual anniversary is next week. This experience never fails to entertain! The waitstaff were exceptionally kind and friendly, and the conductor, Brian, provided a wonderful commentary on the history along the train route. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
We had a wonderful experience! My husband and I visited to celebrate my birthday. We purchased our tickets a bit more than a month in advance. The food was delicious, the cars were lovely, and the staff was friendly. Conductor Brett made some decent jokes and demonstrated extensive knowledge about trains.
