Cinque - Reserva de mesa

I’m living in fear of a stage four lockdown and knew I had to pick up pizza from Cinque before that happened. We called up (and spoke to a very friendly Italian man who’s hospitality radiated down the phone, such a shame we couldn’t dine in the restaurant) and were told pick up in 15 minutes. We did have a small wait upon arrival but it gave me a chance to admire the lovely interior which frankly is really slick and modern for Ringwood and I am thoroughly impressed with this addition to the neighbourhood. We decided to try Cinque this evening after seeing it had opened just before Stage 4 lockdown. From the street, you cannot actually tell how large the restaurant is inside! Amazingly decorated, clean and fantastic staff to boot. Food menu wasn't as vast as listed here on Zomato and I was a little disappointed we couldn't try the pizza BUT everything we ordered was amazing. We had entrees to share (calamari bruscetta), gnocchi with pumpkin and the rockling seriously, could not fault anything. Will definitely be visiting again.

I divorced with a friend for dinner. we had the special cocktail of the day that was gurke, the elderly lychee it was delicious. for the first we both had the pasta speciality, the orchidee with pork ragu crumb was also delicious. to dessert I had the Panna-Citta that my friend had the half-freddo we both enjoyed our desserts. the food service here was great, fine eating in the suburbs, we will return as we want to try other menu items.

It's not easy to find dining that exceeds expectations, especially in the outer suburbs. This food has all the great hallmarks of home made Italian, with a little bit of extra precision, and not too much. it is very expensive for an outer suburban restaurant. the food was good, but barely meticulous the main were fancily worded versions of pub food (fish of the day, pork, dry’ish lamb) starters were better, but to these trips they want more. restaurant was empty for the weekend lunch. probably not back.
