However, in the west end of La Mirada, this place is a hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone who thinks they know good espresso. It's definitely in my top five coffee shops, alongside Valhalla in Tacoma, Washington, and Intelligentsia in Los Angeles. With all the fantastic options in Southern California, this little shop should be a required stop when you're in the area.

I absolutely adore this coffee shop! First off, the decor is spot on—the marble countertops and tables are adorable. The vibe is very trendy, and the service is excellent. They serve local beverages like Fermensch Kombucha and Kefir Soda (a probiotic drink). There's also a lovely selection of pastries; I highly recommend the chocolate croissant! My personal favorite is the honey lavender latte. Additionally, they offer latte art classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and you can even book a private class, which I think would make a fantastic birthday event for any coffee lover.

Excellent coffee! The place is not crowded (yes) or loud. Nice to do work. I tried the flat white and I also tried a lavender latte here from a friend's order. I don't think Barista was so good, even though she still tasted. Strong lavender taste. I went back and the flat white was made by another Barista (Perhaps owner) and it was AMAZING. Perfectly balanced and smooth with a cute latte art. One of the best flat whites. Very recommended! Also good cookies!

The service was incredibly friendly. The iced mocha was excellent, and the chocolate croissant was equally delightful. There's plenty of space to enjoy your coffee, but the tables are a bit small, making it challenging to study or work comfortably. However, it's definitely a lovely little gem!
This place is great! I needed a relaxing place to read and spend the afternoon and Civitas Coffee more than fit the bill! I had a Matcha Latte for the first time ever and it was delicious. I highly recommend stopping in for a quick coffee or hanging out to get work done.

What a wonderful spot! It's a hidden gem that serves fantastic coffee and mouthwatering food! I highly recommend the Honey Oat and the Avocado Toast. You should definitely give them a try—they're generous with the avocado too!

The pumpkin cold brew is absolutely delicious! They also have adorable stickers and some great Jesus merchandise. I really love this coffee shop. Food rating: 5/5.
