18th July was a moving day for me and I had no food in , do decided to go into town to get a sandwich to take away. I 've not eaten at CJs since it became the Goat Kitchen but remember I always had had good food there. There was a new menu so I sat down to have a look and fancied a Club sandwich. Which I ordered. It took an inordinate amount of time to prepare, especially considering the place was not at all busy, just a few people. I took the sandwich home and when I opened the box I was immediately disappointed. There was this warm, soggy excuse for a Club sandwich, tasteless chicken, fatty bacon and bore no resemblance to a club sandwich. One bite and went in the bin. £9.50!.?... you have...

I had a great experience at The Goat Kitchen, which has recently taken over from CJ's. It had been a while since I last visited CJ's because I felt it was declining, but The Goat Kitchen has breathed new life into the establishment. When my dog and I arrived for lunch (without a reservation), we were warmly greeted and asked if our dog would like some water and treats, which was a nice gesture. The menu is similar to the old CJ's menu but more streamlined and less complicated. The staff were fantastic, and the owner even took the time to chat with us. I would highly recommend giving The Goat Kitchen a try if, like me, you had been avoiding CJ's in recent years.

While passing through East Grinstead, we were in search of a pet-friendly restaurant. We stumbled upon CJ's and decided to give it a try. The staff, particularly the woman working behind the bar, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. With two dogs and a 10-month-old baby in tow, she recommended the perfect table with plenty of space. They even provided a booster seat that attached to the stool and gave us plenty of treats for our dogs. We ordered the Club Sandwich and BLT's and were all satisfied with our food and drinks. We would definitely return again in the future.

They have a wide variety of quality foods, and despite being slightly more expensive, the excellent cleanliness and efficient, friendly staff make it worth the cost. Loved this place! We came for breakfast and it was so good (fetalicious and the turkish eggs! That we had to come back for dinner and again for cocktails. A sunny terrace for mornings and coffee and a cool vibe area downstairs for food and bar. Staff were so welcoming and really added to our visit

We had a great time at the restaurant. The live band was fantastic and provided great entertainment. Service at the table was terrible. I had to spend the whole night getting my own drinks at the bar, but it didn't matter because we still had a good time.

The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, allowing us to bring our dog to the restaurant and even providing a bowl of water for our furry friend. The terrace area was beautiful and there was a great selection of food to choose from.

Cj's is a great place to hang out. We have done a few work events here and they always make it special for us. The rooftop terrace is great for sitting out and answering emails. I would recommend this place to grab a coffee any day.

really friendly and polite staff with a beautiful atmosphere accompanied by delicious coffee and great eating! I'm on a keto diet, but they're happy for me and made me a low carbohydrate breakfast.

The food and coffee at this restaurant are excellent and the overall value for money is very good. I highly recommend it.
