UPDATE: After writing my positive review below, we returned to CJ's at The Lake for their burger special. Unfortunately, all of us experienced immediate and severe diarrhea—imagine the worst. We believe we'll be avoiding this place from now on. The meat had a slightly slimy texture, which should have been a warning sign.

The atmosphere was delightful, but sadly, the food fell short of our hopes. We drove 50 miles specifically to savor the highly-praised prime rib, only to discover that the oven was out of order. What we were served appeared to have been taken directly from the freezer and then microwaved. On a bright side, the staff were pleasant and attentive. We may think about coming back in the future, provided we can be assured that the prime rib will be on the menu.

Cj's At The Lake offers delicious food at excellent prices! The relaxed atmosphere and attentive waitress made our experience even better. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem if you're searching for a unique menu away from the usual spots.

A great spot to relax with a lovely patio. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is excellent! The deck offers an amazing view. Prices are reasonable. They also have a pool table, darts, and TVs for entertainment.
