We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We spent $85 on dinner for three people, but that wasn't the main issue. The food was terrible, the portions were extremely small, and our food arrived cold, requiring us to send it back. We felt that we could have had a better meal at McDonald's across the street. The only positive aspect of our visit was our server, Miranda, who was fantastic. We felt sorry for her and made sure to tip her well. However, I would not recommend dining here as the quality of the food has severely declined.
Delicious food and our server, she was very attentive answering all my questions I had about the menu. This was my first time in a Claim Jumper Restaurant. The potato skins, the sub-cero drink she suggested me to try, and the Salmon Oscar made my lunch experience incredible. My partner, Timmy, fully enjoyed the barbecue ribs dish he ordered. I used to be a bar tender, and she scored, base on my experience as a trainee server, 9 which is excellence. I got too full to have a slice of a mother.. something cake for dessert. Thanks girl.
Went for happy hour and ordered chicken tacos. When i bit in to the taco i bit into a chicken bone and chipped my bottom front tooth pretty severely. I informed the manager so they can check the chicken they are using before someone else chips a tooth or even worse chocks on a bone. I was basically called a liar when i showed the manager my tooth and was asked “how the manager would know I didn’t do it somewhere else” UNBELIEVABLE!! We will NEVER go back to ANY Claim Jumper again. And I strongly suggest you don’t eat there either!!
Had dinner here recently for the first time in several months. A busy location, esp. on weekends, so you may have to wait 15-20 min. to be seated. Once seated, the waiter was courteous and attentive. I had the Clam Chowder to start. It tasted great. It was creamy and flavorful and full of clams. I had the Country Fried Steak dinner, which came with mashed potatoes, and a Garden salad. The dinner was delish, and could not finish it all, but took the leftovers home to enjoy the next day. The total tab with tax and tip came to $36.

The oscar salmon, the baby back ribs, and sides were excellent. They have a new salad bar for $14 and it was excellent as well. Service was great. For the two of us it came out to $77.69 They have a 3% surcharge they add to the bill. Overall nice experience and great menu.. Response to the owners response on my review. Thank you for providing the info on the surcharge. Everyone I talk to believe the same thing probably because we're unaware of the reasoning behind it. I've edited my review in light of the new info I've received.
This restaurant is one of my top choices for taking friends out to eat. The portion sizes are generous and everything on the menu is delicious. Their desserts are incredible, with some of the biggest cakes and pies I have ever seen. The chicken dinner is a standout option for me, and I also love their salad bar, which offers a great selection of fresh vegetables. I have even created entire meals just from the salad bar alone. I highly recommend stopping in to see for yourself just how impressive the desserts are.
This is one of those rare moments when you find a restaurant and you know you'll be a regular. The service was impeccable and friendly. The grilled salmon oscar exceeded my expectations. My friend said her fish tacos were the best she ever had. The most amazing thing is the chocolate cake; the only problem is it's too good; one pieces can serve six people. This is a high. quality restaurant with affordable prices. You wouldn't be disappointed.
For the best experience at this Claim Jumper, request to be seated in Deion's section. His service was outstanding! He tended to every request and we never felt neglected or like our waiter was missing. We will definitely return. The only downside is that the steak house selections require purchasing sides separately. Also, make sure to save room for dessert!

Our bartender, Chris, was a delight and she took amazing care of my husband and I. We had a great time and her suggestion of the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was spot on. Honestly one of the best I've had. Thanks a million Chris!
