I thought this restaurant would be a great steakhouse based on the number of cars we see there every weekend. The staff overall was courteous and friendly, except for our server. She never smiled, didn't explain the menu or food preparation, and when asked how the ribs were prepared, she sarcastically replied "In the oven." It was clear she didn't want to be there and seemed unaware she was in the service industry. As for the food, it seems overpriced for the quality. I expected higher quality for my $35 meal than what resembled a country diner. There were three of us in our party, each ordering a steak - two medium rare and one medium well - but all three came out rare. Very disappointing....
La comida y el servicio siempre son excelentes. Me encantan sus dos ensaladas de lechuga con col lombarda con queso azul. No puedo conseguir suficiente pan de queso. Un lugar divertido para ir con amigos. Puedes masticar cacahuetes y tirar las cáscaras al suelo. Nuestros hijos crecieron yendo allí y tienen buenos recuerdos.
I hadn't eaten at a Northwoods Inn since Belmont Shore probably 15 years ago. We had a great experience before heading to the La Mirada Theater for a performance. We we definitely be back!

One of a kind menu, with the best endless salad and cheese bread on the planet. Entrees are very well prepared and very tasty ... Great service and bar.
Northwoods inn is always a treat. The steaks are amazing in every way imaginable. Plus, you get to eat all of the peanuts you can stomach.
One of the best steakhouses in SoCal. All the food is great and professional service always. A must try.
