I'm not sure what this other reviewer was on, but me and my group had a great time at the Clock Tower bar. It's a pretty small place so it does get full pretty quick, but you can tell that it's all repeat business. Everyone...seemed to know each other. I tried some of the burger, which was pretty good, but I loved my meat that I got on the hot stone Great sauces came with it and some fresh cut fries. Fries weren't my thing but they were alright. I loved the fact that I could watch the cook make our food. Everything looked really fresh from where I was sitting. It would be nice to get some poutine in Switzerland, but I haven't found it yet. we had heard that this place had fabulous eating, but were somewhat disappointed. the place is very dark and small and offers only a few tables, so they come early! I think this is more a bar than a restaurant because it is. a lot of bar stool instead of tables and chairs. the owner/manager seems to smoke most of his time right before the entrance. the only thing that was Canadian was a beer they served. I had the chicken finger with an salate and my man had a burger and pommes. both were in order, but nothing special. we asked for water, but they said they only serve water. besides the salad, the large part of the food is deep fried and quite fat. I am not convinced that there is something...
Local in style and with Canadian cuisine....It is only necessary to have patience the service is not very fast....the place is managed by husband and wife...the husband is the cook and kitchen in front of the bar counter to view of the customers. There are few tables the room is very small but nice and cozy....the menu is made of meat 4/5 types of hamburgers and 2 types of steaks in three grammatures. .to try Canadian beers.... don't expect a restaurant/pub otherwise you will be disappointed
we ordered 2 burgers with pommes. that took almost 25min. the lady who served was very unfriendly. could hardly greet and was very slow. time for a job change maybe. then we were happy to eat. but that was not good. the pommes was totally soft, and the burgers had no taste and the meat was of very bad quality. for a good burger man goes better in mcdonalds. unbelievable that they've been overhauling. eat briefly - bad friendliness - very unfriendly mood - catastrophe Reserva una mesa ahora
small and cozy Canadian bar with very good food, on the square thun there is no better burger. also the fries and the meat on the hotstone are highly recommended, as well as the salat. the kitchen is open until 2.00 o'clock morges. the selection is rather small, but for this one is pampered with freshly prepared ware, which is unfortunately no longer self-evident today. I can only recommend this locally, whether for a drink, a small snack, or even for the big hunger.
Everything was tip top, we'll be back, I promise. If you're looking for a classy location, this is the wrong place, but if you're looking for a delicious burger or stone with a juicy piece of meat, this is the right place. When we entered in the restaurant had the view on a dirty/greasy/smelly kitchen. Despite that, we asked for a table for the waiter told us to ask other customers to move to free a table!!! We left the restaurant and went to another one....It's a pity as it does not reflect Canada at all! They don't serve real Canadian food as poutine.
