This is my favorite restaurant in Raleigh. While I usually prefer higher-end places like Cowfish in North Hills or Midtown, the staff and service at this restaurant have consistently impressed me. I typically rate places 3 to 4 stars, but the welcoming attitude of multiple staff members who come to greet you makes it hard to give less than 5 stars. The food is absolutely fantastic—without a doubt, the best Mexican restaurant around. In fact, they could raise their prices by $2 on menu items because I'm definitely getting more than my money's worth! I've dined here a few times, but I've only had a sit-down meal once. I really enjoyed the street tacos, particularly the carnitas—they're my favorite! They were delicious and came with rice and beans. The interior is beautifully decorated, creating a lively atmosphere, and it seems to be quite a popular spot on the strip, especially on weekends. They offer some nice drink specials too. Our waiter was decent—not overly friendly, but not rude either. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely return.
Obviously a big college crowd, but it didn 't take away from the food or service. Super timely and delicious. Lots of choices for a 'Mexican ' restaurant, with excellent twists and additions. Price point is what you would expect for this type of establishment. Huge crowd tells you all you need to know.
Great service (Luis), good food, quick and very reasonably priced..I found their menu to offer a little more than I am accustomed to in a great way.. The street corn and empanadas were tasty.. we shared nachos as well and turned our lunch into a 'menu tasting ' experience

Everything was excellent! The lunch portions were generous, and there were great drink specials. I definitely need to come back in the evening to take advantage of those offers!
I loved the experience and the food was excellent. This was the first time I had ever seen spinach and chicken anchilladas and they tasted amazing!!!
I visited for the first time today with my daughter, and we absolutely loved it. I highly recommend the Quesadilla Grande—it's amazing!

Best tacos in town! As a result, this place is PACKED, 7 days a week. This is my go-to for tacos y burritos.
Just went there for the first time, food was great as was service, will definitely come back!
