Always a great experience! The service is friendly, but the prices have gone up significantly and the portions are smaller. I understand the need for price adjustments, but I find it hard to justify spending $25 on a patty melt, fries, drink, and tip or $20 for a cup of soup and half a sandwich. Today, I ordered a very small waffle, 2 eggs, and 2 bacon (without a drink) for $15, and with the tip, I'm not sure if $18 is a fair price. I don't mind paying top dollar for quality food, but I feel like the prices here are a bit too steep for what you actually receive. However, I still have a soft spot for Colonial. The service at this restaurant is always great and friendly. However, the prices have increased significantly and the portions have become smaller. I understand the reason for the price increase, but I find it difficult to justify paying $25 for a patty melt, fries, a drink, and tip or $20 for a cup of soup and half a sandwich. I don't mind paying more for good food, but I believe that the current prices are a bit excessive for what you receive. Despite this, I still have a fondness for Colonial.

The service and food at this restaurant were great. However, the check-out process was terrible. We had to wait behind another customer who was having some issues, which is understandable. But the staff never acknowledged our presence or said anything to us. When we finally received our change, the girl at the register gave it to us in a snotty manner. I mentioned that a simple acknowledgment would have avoided the issue. If we had been treated better at check-out, I would have definitely returned to this restaurant in the future. Unfortunately, I will now be going somewhere else due to the lack of basic customer service.

I have passed by this restaurant countless times over the past decade without ever stepping inside. Today, I finally decided to give it a try. The service was satisfactory, but the food was mediocre - I've had better elsewhere. I opted for the pulled pork tacos, which may not be their specialty as the pork was a bit dry. A member of my group ordered the pot pie and found it to be enjoyable, while another ordered the shrimp tacos and thought they were good. I stopped by for a warm drink and was impressed by the presentation of my hot tea. My friend and I decided to try the French onion soup, which arrived piping hot. However, we thought it could use less bread and more cheese on top. The flavor seemed a bit bland and could have used more seasoning. On a positive note, the restaurant is known for serving great ice cream. I have heard good things about their breakfast menu as well and may give it a try next time.

This place exceeds expectations by far! It's probably the best place I have eaten at in the whole area so far! If you have never been, then you need to check it out because it is the best food for country cooking I have had in a very long time! Not to mention the deserts... You can get just about anything you want. And.... they have cinnamon ice cream, which is one of my favorite flavors! Check them out; you'll be glad that you did!

We enjoyed breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Colonial Cafe. The food was the usual, good quality of any Colonial Cafe. The servers were friendly and busy. The Easter Bunny made the rounds, danced and passed out plastic eggs and toys. Great way to start the weekend!

We visited this restaurant for Mother's Day brunch. The staff was extremely welcoming and the food was tasty. We will definitely be returning customers.
