I'll start by saying make a reservation by calling them directly and do not use google to book it bc they never got ours when I did it that way. Luckily we got there early enough where they still had room for us before people started to pack in due to the band playing that night. Host was very gracious and our waitress was good. When we sat down we were told appetizers and drinks were half off until 6pm for happy hour. As you can see from my receipt it's actually 40% off not 50%. Very misleading. I wanted to add chicken to my caprese grilled cheese and the waitress came back and said it was $26. It would be the most expensive sandwich on the menu (even more than steak) but that was fine. When the receipt arrived it was $10 extra not $6.00. I brought it to her attention and she took off $2.00 more so now a $28 grilled cheese with chicken. Our waitress was charming and incredibly friendly, and all the staff were wonderful! The atmosphere was really pleasant. The steaks were decent, but I expected more given the price; they had too much fat, and I’ve had better elsewhere. The brie was delicious, but it was served with simple table crackers instead of a baguette or fruit, which made it feel overpriced. On the positive side, the salad was excellent and very fresh. The drinks were enjoyable too. The live band was a fantastic addition and really enhanced our evening. It’s great to have live music instead of recorded tracks or a DJ, and that definitely makes us want to come back again.
Time for a Colts Neck Inn update! We enjoyed a nice dinner for 3 this past Wednesday evening. Vinny was our server and he not only provided outstanding service, but he also had great suggestions for a nice family style dinner. We shared a 32 oz strip steak and caesar salad for 3. What a nice platter he made and went out of his way to make sure we had a great meal. Food was very good and since you may also find Vinny as the bartender on other days, he made sure our beverages were always full. Great evening and we will definitely be back. Always a solid dining experience and the best steak around in monmouth county!

I had a delightful dinner with friends on a Friday night at Colts Neck Inn Steak. From the warm welcome we received upon arrival to the attentive service and deliciously prepared drinks and meals, everything was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back since it's hard to find good restaurants. Plus, around 8:30 PM, a live band started playing, which really enhanced our experience. I highly recommend giving them a try. Just a heads up—be ready to take home leftovers because the portions are generous! So good!
After playing 18 holes at Colts Neck Golf Club, I found myself craving a steak, so we headed to Colts Neck Inn. The steak was cooked and served to perfection—absolutely delicious! The meal came with an excellent baked potato, spinach, and truffle fries. J.P., the manager, made us feel as if we were guests in his own home for dinner. He is a fantastic host and pays attention to every detail of your experience. I loved it!
The hotel is the most disgusting place I've ever stayed in. Duck tape holds up the mirror, they have window a/c units where you hear ever sound outside. The place is so worn down. There was a liquid spill in the elevator. It could have been dog urine. I notified the front desk. It was still present 2 hours later. I've stayed in nicer camp sites!! BE WARNED!!
Stayed here for the first time. The breakfast is delicious. There is always somebody available to serve you 24 hours per day. They are located centrally to multiple businesses from food, shopping and plenty of things to do. The ambiance is relaxing and relatively quite.

Always a go to for us! Great Steakhouse and a good local bands Friday and Saturday nights.
