I have lived in West Roxbury for about 6 months and ordered about 10-15 times from Comella (because I like her boneless buffalo chicken), but everything else has been hit or missed, usually miss because of the inconvenience of food and at least one thing wrong every time. I go to order the boneless buffalo chicken today to see that the prices have been increased, so now for 13.99 (instead of 9.99, what it was a week or two) you can have 5 pieces of chicken that might have with it or not celery... so I made with Comella and I am gunna find a new and more consistent place. Any recommendations???
I visited this place for the first time and ordered an Italian sub along with a meatball sub. They were decent—not the best I've ever had, but they did satisfy my cravings for both. My main concern was the bread they use; it was very soft and the roll was quite small. While it didn't taste bad, it just didn't pair well with the sandwiches. If I had known, I would have requested toasted bread or a different type altogether. Unfortunately, I probably won't return.
Very over priced. I ordered half bucket which is a medium size aluminum tray of eggplant parmesan with no pasta. Paid $44 plus some change. I get home and open up the tray to find it ful of sauce and only 3 eggplant parm in such a big tray. Paying almost $15 for each one is very ridiculous. You really need to be a little more considerate to your customers. I don't think I will be going there anymore.
Delicious food and friendly staff in a charming little restaurant. I tried one of the Mess Plates with chicken and meatballs, which featured a delightful cheesy topping, a tangy sauce, and crispy breaded chicken along with tender, flavorful meatballs. This unexpected pasta dish was a pleasant surprise! The Tiramisu and Cannoli were both incredible as well. I highly recommend this place!

Comella's Restaurant in West Roxbury is so good. The food is very good and a really great Italian restaurant. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food that is served. I definitely recommend Comella's. I know that they have lots of locations and I'm sure that they are all good but as for The West Roxbury location. Great food, great staff and great atmosphere as well. Thank you!
The food was delicious and bountiful. Place your order, pay and take a seat. The food and utensils were brought to the table and we were instantly impressed by the smell and sight of our food. Only wish I thought to order some garlic bread to mop up the wonderful Italian marinara sauce!!!!
This is an excellent option for takeout Italian and pizza. The food is delicious, and the quality is always reliable. The service is exceptional as well. There are a few tables available if you prefer dining in. Parking is typically easy, with spaces usually available nearby.
hands down the best pizza I've had in Boston, wasn't greasy, and tasted amazing. They were very busy when i went to pick up the pizza but they made up for it in service. I will definitely be going back again in the near

I used to love Comella's for their cheap cheese pizzas. However, I ordered a calzone the other day and received an undercooked mess of dough and raw veggies. Waste of money...
Endless waiting on the phone I simply gave up and moved on to a different restaurant. No one picks up. Worthless unreliable services
