I've been a loyal customer of Common Grounds for over twenty years. While the quality of the drinks can fluctuate depending on the staff's experience, you can generally count on getting a good cup of coffee here—it's the best option on Biola's campus. Recently, they have eliminated the communal creamer, which makes it a bit challenging to customize your coffee unless you prefer it black. It's a pleasant place to study, but the music is often too loud to really concentrate on your work.
The campus has seen major renovations in the last five years, featuring a new dormitory, a science building, and an updated art building. My wife and I visited, and we were truly impressed by its beauty. There are ample parking spaces, and the campus's layout makes it easy to walk from one end to the other. It's a fantastic place. I went on a school day, and it didn't seem overly crowded. I also spent some time in the library, which was a delightful experience.
I had the blended iced chai bomb, and it was amazing! The coffee flavor was rich and full-bodied, which can often be missing in a dirty chai. Additionally, I really appreciated the cozy seating.
The chai bomb is the best drink! Loved grabbing coffee here before a study session or before class, the place can get crazy during peak hours so get there on the off hours if you can. Reserva una mesa ahora
The music is too loud half the time, the drinks are way too overpriced, and the drinks don't taste very good. Their coffee is never good.
Definitely better than Heritage in my opinion! The people are friendly and thoughtful!
2nd best coffee shop on Biolas campus. Kinda pricey for subpar coffee
