Coming here was one of the best meals I ever had but one of the worst experiences I ever had since I moved to the DMV area. Went a Wednesday around 7PM to celebrate my birthday with my mom and grandma. Our server was amazingly friendly and attentive and so the front desk people. I?m taking a star because of security reasons, that day we sat in the outdoor tables. When we were about to get the last part of our Vegetarian Tour of the World course (couldn?t taste the dessert

Compass Rose is defiantly eclectic?from its food that?s inspired by cuisine all around the world to its decor with flowing fabrics in the back that evokes a house in Morocco. I want to love this place more, but I found that their Tour of the World set menu has many dishes that were a little too spicy for me. In addition, as someone who?s severely lactose intolerant, while they could set aside dairy for a certain dish, there were no substitutions offered for their cheesy

Compass rose is one of the best restaurants you can go to in dc because of the atmosphere, the flavor, and the friendly service. We tried the around the world menu, and boy were we impressed! The taste of the dishes have deep yet light authentic flavors. We especially liked the lamb, as the meat is premium quality. It is one of the hardest to pull off. The caramel flan, a sweet dish, is to die for. We had to order another one. The squash and labneh were particularly

I was visiting DC for a catering conference and a friend from my home town who now calls DC her town, introduced me to the dish, khachapuri. What a treat, the food was very good, my cocktail was superb (had 3) and service was spot on including the friendly hostesses. It's always nice to know a local who takes you to the coolest place, AKA, whole in the wall. Highly recommend this place for a taste of the beaten path. Reserva una mesa ahora

This place is such a vibe! My husband I were just passing by and saw the outdoor seating. We didn?t see the name of the spot but when we went inside the decor, music, and aroma was just perfect! So we sat at the bar and ordered the Spicy Bag and a few drinks. Food was delicious and E the bartender kept the drinks flowing! Great day vibe and I can only imagine if at night! Can?t wait to go back!

One of my favorite places to eat in DC with an ever changing menu filled with foods from all across the globe. Always some new and interesting to try here. Not a place for picky eaters but if you love to try new foods you've possibly never even heard of, this is the restaurant for you! Also, they have some really good and interesting cocktails, one of which was a dill infused vodka martini.

Amazing food at this place. Went there on a Saturday night with a reservation, we were a group of three. They have great dunks here and kept our water filled with a bottle at the table. Staff was very attentive. We decided to do the fixed price menu and it was such a good idea, they were also accommodating to dietary restrictions. We were stuffed by the end of the meal and very satisfied!

I had a great experience here. My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary. The around the world food package was great. It was a new and fun experience. I recommend sitting outside during good weather. Our server was knowledgeable and very nice. At the end of the date my boyfriend and I were full and satisfied. I would come back here again. We did the around the world breakfast for $30 a person. So good! Very generous portions. Not pictured was the delicious chicken that comes as part of the breakfast and fantastic French press of coffee we enjoyed. Great service. Excited to go back and try more!
