What a wonderful experience! We had my mother’s birthday dinner tonight and were impressed! Easy parking, inviting welcome, and seated immediately. For starters we had the mixed seafood, especially loved the calamari and shrimp. The grilled octopus was tender. The buffalo mozzarella excellent. I had the cacio a Pepe perfectly prepared al dente. Chicken Francese was delicious and also tried my mother’s veal special breaded and topped with Parmesan. I love that the food was tasty but didn’t feel heavy. Our wonderful server made the frothiest cappuccino and with it a light airy chocolate terrine, a perfect end to a perfect evening. Thank you!
P place is New York!!! It is in Queens and from the moment you arrive, you get the classic New York feeling. Someone welcomes you at the door or they see you at a table, it's super charming. Many restaurants have lost their New York charm, but this place stops. The food is spectacular from the first bite into the desert, there was nothing we did not love, it was as if someone was the grandmother in the kitchen cooking it with love. EVEN THE BATHROOMS WERE CLEAN! Can't wait to go back!
I've eaten so often in this restaurant, you could say I'm addicted. As they say, diversity is the spices of life, so I like to turn it on and often try another dish. Every time I am amazed how fresh and tasteful every dish is. My friends agree that the food is delicious, and no matter how full I am, I cannot help but get dessert (tiramisu and panna cotta is my Fave). The outdoor seating area is heated and very cozy! They won't be disappointed.
Wow, food here is excellent and it is nice to taste dishes that are southern inspired as I usually only dine in Nordic style Italian restaurants. Service is friendly and attentive. Areas are cozy! They were not disappointed and planned to be here regularly. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is warmer bread, except 5/5!
