Patchy service and rude staff. This place is badly organized with confusion about simply buying a pastry to go, or table service, which barely exists. The hapless young man at the counter refused to take our order at the front and said he would come to our table, but then this is dependent on when he is finished serving people at the front counter who come in for take away pastries. We waited 25 minutes and he ignored our pleadings and in the end we had to make a fuss to get service.....and even then he took forever. The coffee is good, the pastries all on the dry side. Sadly there is not much choice for breakfast in the Ouchy neighborhood on the lake, unless you want to spend a minimum of C...

We stopped for coffee, opposite the marina in Ouchy, down by the lake. We were so pleasantly surprised at what we had found. Instead of a coffee shop with an outside area in the winter sun, we discovered a concise ride with beautifully skilled cakes and other snacks, a rare sight of beauty. The choice we made was lovely and we found some specialities to take home as gifts, too. The coffee was great.

Very good pies and ice cream. Salad bar pretty interesting. The service is impeccable and you never have to wait too long.
