Patchy service and rude staff. This place is badly organized with confusion about simply buying a pastry to go, or table service, which barely exists. The hapless young man at the counter refused to take our order at the front and said he would come to our table, but then this is dependent on when he is finished serving people at the front counter who come in for take away pastries. We waited 25 minutes and he ignored our pleadings and in the end we had to make a fuss to get service.....and even then he took forever. The coffee is good, the pastries all on the dry side. Sadly there is not much choice for breakfast in the Ouchy neighborhood on the lake, unless you want to spend a minimum of C...
This is an excellent source of chocolate, cakes, pies as well as a great place to have a delicious and quick lunch out of a very limited but excellent quality choices. The slightly above average prices are well worth the above average quality.

I've been taking a thousand leafs for many years here, screaming. they are excellent but unfortunately more and more expensive and smaller. Too bad it's a luxury to eat one.

Very good pies and ice cream. Salad bar pretty interesting. The service is impeccable and you never have to wait too long.
