We travel to Santa Barbara several times a year. We try to visit Convivo when we come. We travel with our 3 special needs border collies. The outdoor patio is dog friendly. We made a dinner reservation that included our wheelchair bound border collie. He was not feeling well so we left him at the rental house but the staff greeted us brightly and asked about the dogs. They even remembered all 3 dogs' names. We were seated quickly and service was perfect. I hate that I can't remember the name of our server. Service was horrible and when I left a tip to reflect the level of service the server came back and ask if I meant to leave a low tip. Totally unprofessional, just accept you did a bad job and take it as constructive criticism.
We always get wonderfully prepared meals at Convivo. It is our go to restaurant whenever we visit Santa Barbara. And, neither my wife nor I ever “react” to anything in the food. It’s great!
The shishito peppers appetizer was amazing Great wine list My mushroom pizza was excellent Chairs not so comfortable but service was great!
