Cooper's Hawk Winery Downers Grove

My daughter and I were frequent, longtime patrons of Cooper's Hawk in Downers Grove, IL. We dined there as often as 4 to 5 times per month. On September 29, 2023, we made a reservation for 1:15 pm at this location. We ordered what we usually start with an espresso martini for my daughter, and a bottle of sparking wine with two glasses for the two of us. The server, who also imparted that she had recently been promoted to a supervisor, delivered the bottle to the table with one glass only. It's been quite a while since we've been to Cooper's Hawk but having just moved to DG we wanted to retry it. Had a lovely evening and got to sit outside on the upper deck. It's definitely the way to go b c it was quite chilly inside. As normal we got the Pinot Noir and Petit Syrah wine and it did not disappoint at all. I preferred the Syrah but hubby liked the Pinor. It paired well with our course. Started with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts some of the best we've had. Was deliciously crispy and had a nice flavor with the cashew mint aioli.
