Visited a friend who worked in the area and we decided to walk over to Copa Vida, where I've never been. Place was crowded for a late afternoon, and they had a decent food menu as well. On a chocolate fix, I went with a hot cocoa and chocolate croissant while she went with an iced coffee. We found a seat in the back room and it was a pleasant place to be for the next hour. Cocoa tasted great, the crowd was fairly mellow for a Thursday afternoon, and it was a great place to be for a while. Service up front was good even though it was a little busy upon arrival. I would certainly return to any Copa Vida in the future if I came across one.

Food I had the Croque Madame with a salad and it was beyond flavorful delicious. Large portion filling! I also had a vanilla latte hot and came in a mug. I wish it was more but it was good coffee. Plates had a chip, and were damaged. They may want to replace but no issue. Service was on good, the cashier was helpful in recommendations and there was a water station with a small area with condiments, sugar, napkins, etc. There was someone delivering food to you with the number given (when you pay). Ambiance was nice, there were a lot of tables and it was busy but not too loud. I would recommend.

I was in search of a nice spot for a quick meal, but unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations. I ordered the chilaquiles and avocado toast, and I didn't expect that either dish could be poorly prepared. I was mistaken. The bread for the toast was unlike any I had seen before, resembling more of a crouton. The chips served with the chilaquiles were just store-bought chips from a bag. Additionally, the coffee was quite bitter. While the atmosphere is pleasant if you're looking to sit and relax for a while, I can't recommend the food here.

TL;DR: If you're coming here for the coffee, you'll be happy. If you're coming here for the food, your mileage may vary. If you go here for the coffee, you'll be delighted. The latte and Mocha that I received were just as good as I had heard. However, the Avocado Toast that I ordered $11) was good except for the mountain of arugula added to the top. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate arugula, but this place added so much to the toast, I couldn't really taste anything else. Reserva una mesa ahora

I had heard of so many people and positive online reviews that this is the place to visit in pasadena, but was completely underwhelmed. breakfast Burrito was moderate, felt overpriced and did not come with something on the side. the agave ice cream coffee was ordered to be half sweet and it came out as if it were all sweets. the barista was able to make it again, but I would not recommend to visit as it is extremely packed with a hipster crowd inside and out.

Perfect spot to meet a friend for an impromptu coffee while I was in my old neighborhood. Pair good coffee with great conversation and your afternoon is made. Iced Coffee was nice. What bothers me is when places don’t do the bare minimum in keeping things tidy and clean. I used to work at a coffee shop and know what it takes and it really isn’t much if you do it consistently. Sticky counters and crumbs and spillage just wipe it down. Not hard.

Always a win. Steller chefs and quality baristas. Menu changes seasonally. So be prepared to cry when your new favorite menu item disappears but it's okay because the new new menu items are going to smack. Parking sucks so be prepared to walk. Also go on a week day if possible, it gets slammed on weekends.Vegetarian options: Small selection but fabulous executionWheelchair accessibility: Ada seating, front entrance is awkward but accessible

Super cute and spacious coffee shop. My buddy and I met up for morning coffee and pastries. Absolutely enjoyed my latte and almond croissant, and of course the company. Lots of seating and two separate rooms. If you?re looking to have a nice time, drink great coffee and people watch?then Copa Vida is for you. Street metered parking and some free parking on the side streets as well. Check it out. Support this local coffee shop! Reserva una mesa ahora

I had an amazing experience at Copa Vida in Pasadena during my recent visit, and it was all thanks to the outstanding service from Fifi. As a vegetarian, I appreciated her expertise in helping us choose delicious food and drink options that suited our dietary needs. Fifi's knowledge and enthusiasm really enhanced our experience. I highly recommend Copa Vida for a fantastic lunch!
