The desserts are the exact same as served in hospital- right down...to the jelly cups. Dressings sauces are the exact same as the supermarket bought presented to be self served directly from athe the bottles. Cheese platter looked as though someone dashed down to Woolies and unwrapped the foil from a cheap wedge of blue vein. The restaurant was very busy, majority tourists and then was at least one large...tour group. Have been here before and never been disappointed, so decided to go again when looking for somewhere in the area on a Saturday night. There was a buffet available but I stuck with the a la carte menu options. I had the Peking Duck and...the Barramundi with a fantastic Margaret River Chardonnay, finished off with ice-cream sundae. Spent a leisurely and relaxing hours over an excellent dinner. The place was very busy, yet the service was fantastic. Prices were very reasonable in comparison to what is available in the area. Will definitely go again.

Decided to try this place with our twin toddlers and were not disappointed. The service from the start was amazing and we were given a booth which was perfect for trapping in two wandering children. The kids meals were huge and could have fed an...adult who eats smaller portions. We ordered the French baguette and dips as an entree and all three were amazing . The chicken supreme was beautiful melt in your mouth and my husband loved his ribs. The staff were attentive checking on us without being intrusive.
We stayed at Rydges for the long weekend and had breakfast included in our accommodation package. CHB looks and feels like a typical "hotel" restaurant but the service and food was superb. Hot breakfast was great, loved the breakfast wrap and waffles...and the green bowl...was really fresh. Nothing was too much trouble and food came out super quickly.
I had a fish dish, I was a wee bit disappointed at the size, BUT the fish was cooked to perfection. All in all it was a very good meal and good service, the staff member I saw were quite busy, but managed very...well... would eat there again if I am staying in the Rydges...
We stayed at hotel and had breakfast and some dinners here. The staff were great, especially Patricia and Winnie who are amazing, but so were all the staff, helpful, efficient and attentive. Food was good too, and loved happy hour, can get busy then.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here last night. The calamari and barramundi were both beautifully done. Loved the ice cream sundae to top it off. Service was fantastic, very friendly and professional. Awesome night.
