this restaurant does not seem to be open. we were curious to try for one because, but was always offline for ordering during the specified times open. it was just a question to be too busy/to turn off online orders, we went. in the actual restaurant on 2/4/22, and the building was blocked, no people inside (just to clarify, it seemed not closed for a private party or anything). Social media accounts have not been updated for ever, much less to warn potential customers of the closure / changed hours. the reviews are also quite old at this point. I wanted to share a newer review to warn someone else who thinks about it; save themselves the effort and travel.
Having tried to book via telephone and left voicemails, I was about to give up on trying to reserve a table. Very late in the day I was called back and able to book a table for that evening. The antipasti and two pizzas (calabrese...and portobello) were ordered along with a bottle of house white (Pinot Grigio). The food arrived promptly and was very tasty. Quantity was also very good and should really have only ordered one pizza as the antipasti was substantial. Fresh, tasty and plentiful. Authentic too! Good friendly service and reasonably priced. Not a wide selection but delicious.
We went to the cork and dough for the first time on Saturday 15th of Jan. Had a good ambience, service and quality of food. The only thing that let the place down was the limited selection of food. Not many toppings or selection of...pizza's, would be nice to have pasta selection and more mains and desserts.
Ordered pizza for the family as we have been meaning to try here for a while. Ordering and collection was seamless and my only complaint is that I didn't try Cork and Dough sooner. Everyone enjoyed it and I can't wait to order again. Thanks...for great service and a great food in these difficult times!
after the lock we visited a contract and to support the local business, the restaurant is still aligned for the takeaway service, but also takes seat reservations. that eating was okay, too generous on the beats, although the pizza made too hard. the price was reasonable and the service was pleasant.
Telephoned our order in and it was ready exactly on time. The calamari was hot and crispy and we demolished it in the car on the way home. The pizzas and garlic bread were delicious and we had enough left over for lunch the next...day. Would recommend a visit if you like authentic pizza.
Absolutely fabulous as always due to recent times they are open for collection only at the moment with delivery to follow soon, the best pizza in town by far and a new menu to boot, not much more to say really if you want authentic...Italian pizza do not go anywhere else
