My wife and I were visiting the area and read the reviews. Very glad we did. The shop has nice simple meals that are filling. The people who are there make it an enjoyable time. The photos and other items from locals were reasonably priced...and supported the mission of the cafe. I do regret to say I’ve almost eaten the complete bag of fudge in one sitting. Lady’s this is all your fault. I only wish I had a big glass of milk to top it off. It was so nice to learn about the area from such nice folks. We can’t wait to try the plum jam.
I love everything about this place. Every customer receives a cheerful smile from the owner as they enter the cafe. He made sure that all customers’ need are look after. The big breakfast is tasty. What a lovely cafe. It was busy when we were there with two large walking groups. But the voluntary staff coped admirably. I had a sandwich, lemon drizzle cake and 2 coffees and it was only £7. I was amazed. Will definitely be back Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Beware of the funny opening times of this cafe that they only post in the window! Read so many good reviews of it. There was ourselves, 5 of us plus two other couples who wasted a journey there.
You won't find a better cafe anywhere in the world , exceptionally friendly staff excellent food and the lunchtime special fantastic value ,thank you
