My friend and I have hunted a few high-quality Deli sandwiches and came over this jewel! Excellent customer service, very attentive. The working man asked if I had any allergies before I prepared our food. When we asked if they had garlic powder, he said no, although he was able to recommend a replacement as an Italian spice mixture. We can't wait! Beautiful variety of fresh pastas and Italian imports. I have the Caprese Sandwich and my friend the classic turkey, both absolutely excellent. The baguette was very fresh, the deli meat/cheese was very fresh. everything was mouthwater and incredibly refreshing. Just what we needed! This quaint Italian deli in Bethesda is a rare gem. While the prices are on the higher side, it's worth it to support this little business. I really enjoy the American Carnevale sandwich. Each sandwich comes with a delicious balsamic/olive oil dressing, arugula, and tomatoes, all on a fantastic roll toasted to perfection. The market is also a delightful spot to explore and discover unique Italian products. I've been coming here for years and always look forward to it.
We're so fortunate to have this amazing little gem in our neighborhood. The fresh food is absolutely delicious (holy cannoli!) and the menu is extensive, featuring high-quality and unique options. Your family will be grateful when you bring home any of their incredible offerings—I can personally attest to that. This restaurant was fantastic! I think this is one of the best Italian sandwiches I've ever tasted (definitely try the Pastrami). The place was spotless and offered an impressive variety of beverages and teas. The Cannoli was delicious, and the Sfogliatelle was outstanding too. The selection of items was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

You want an experience? Visit this place ASAP! The owner is so unbelievably kind and truly enjoys sharing simple, beautiful food with his customers. He will hand crank his deli slicer and create the most delicious sandwiches. Picked up some coffee from different regions of Italy. Just an amazing experience and place. I wish I had this place back home. Very warm and welcoming.
I always come back here every time I'm back in DC. Absolute top quality sandwiches and ingredients. They also have a cute little market with all the Italian specialities you'd ever want. Great owner/staff as well. If you're in the mood for an Italian sandwich, this is the place.
What a gem! Santino was so welcoming and kind. The sheep’s milk cannoli was to die for! We can’t wait to go back for a sandwich. As some other’s have said, the prices are a little high; however, the food and vibe are authentic, and it is always nice to support a small business!
Their sandwich is delicious and their service is spectacular. I went there with my 1 year old son and he was so fussy and I could barely order. The owner gave my son cookies and even gave us chairs so we could sit while we waited. Wonderful place, great food, very good people.

Great place. Nice guy runs it. Haven't had a sandwich there yet but I bet they're worth what's charged. It's a cliche but he uses the best ingredients.
I will literally fly back here for the pastrami sandwich and fresh cannolis.
