Cosmo's Tapas & Wine

Really lovely food, wine and outdoor seating area. We ordered around 6 tapas which we didn’t manage to finish, all of which were delicious. The outdoor area is well situated near beer garten so the area seems lively; and in the sun this weekend, was really lovely. However, we did find the service in the restaurant really let it down. As non- German speakers we expected we would be difficult guests, and it might be difficult for staff serving us. However, after serving our food, the staff failed to return to our table, to check the meals, or see if we wanted more drinks or dessert. Very good tapas, and they taste like in Spain, perhaps even better. We had jamon iberico, croquetas (excellent!), boquerones (tasted like they should) and boquerones fritas (very nice and crisp). The olives were also very good, and the dips tasty and spicy. If you have a hot date or an important business meeting, stay away from the dips, because they are made with lots of fresh garlic. I had the house red wine, which was ok, but there better Riojas. Next time, I'll try one of the other ones. All in all, the tapas bar is a very good addition to the restaurant scene in Coburg.

Work brings us to Coburg regularly, so we have tried a number of the restaurants here.The Cosmo's Tapas & Wine is near the top of our list whenever we discuss where to eat. The food is excellent, the service (with a smile) is very good and the patron speaks good English. I can't recommend any one thing on the menu, just all of it. Go, enjoy.

A real "Spanish" jewel in the center of Coburg. Awesome authentic food with world class drinks to accompany for a really fair price! You can tell straight away that the owner puts his heart and soul into the divine art of spanish food and beverages. A real enrichment for Coburg's Foodies.

We enjoyed! Good spanish Red and White wines. A good glass of White Marques de Alella and a Red one from Campo de Borja. Hard to find anywhereelse outside Spain. Very fresh and tasty Tapas! Great discovery!! ????

The best Aioli I've ever had! Super delicious Caipirinha and a very friendly bartender! Happy again
