Dropped into Costa with a family member at 5:50pm. There were no staff visible we had to wait over 5 minutes for a staff member to materialise. When a staff member did materialise, she was a very unpleasant girl, who; rather than greeting us, said you know it 's take out only . When I asked if we could drink the take out coffee inside (given it was pretty cold out) she said no barked our order at another staff member then proceeded to walk around the outlet telling the customers who were already seated drinking coffee that they had to leave. We’ve been served by Laura a few times now and she’s always gone the extra mile for us! Last week she told us all about the Costa club and helped us download the app, and this week we ordered water for our dog along side our coffees, but costa were out of stock of bottled flat water and Laura gave us some tap water for him. Exceptional service, Costa you are very lucky to have such an amazing member of staff representing your brand it’s the personal touches like this that keeps us coming back and staying clear of your competitors! I was disappointed when I asked for cream on my coffee frappe at this restaurant and was given vegan whip instead. The taste was ruined and it was quite unpleasant. It's frustrating that they often run out of cream, yet still ask if we want it. This time, I made sure to ask them to leave it out of our drinks. It's also worth mentioning that the last time I visited, there was no ice available. I haven't encountered these issues at other Costa stores.

I don’t know why this place is here. They are constantly running out of things. Machines break all the time, they run out of sauce, always run out of cream and insanely enough ran out of ice!!!! Every single time I go there is an apology after I make my order. One week they only had one size cup. I’ve learnt my lesson now and will not be going ever again
I was served an iced coffee that was freezing cold and received the completely wrong order. The woman, who I believe was named Pip, had a snotty and rude attitude. She seemed to have a major attitude problem. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.
I frequently visit this Costa on my way to work. The staff are exceptional, always willing to go above and beyond and very friendly. This is the only Costa in Runcorn that I choose to visit.

Can rely it’s open on time every day. Breakfast products out of stock a lot. Short measures on occasions. Only saving grace is it’s open before Starbucks and it’s a drive thru
Great for morning coffee, forget it if you want one after 5pm Door locked and no walk in available. Starbucks just over the road
