Me and my 2 sisters visited the cafe 19th April, 2024 for my birthday ,needless to say we will not return ,it advertised fish chips peas, haddock or pollack, we ordered Haddock , the meal came the fish batter was full of grease , the inside was awful it certainly wasn 't haddock. The garden peas were very hard and chips werent much better Not one of us ate it ,we complained the head person came to see us and apologised ,he said we haven 't been able to get haddock for weeks and he wouldn 't eat anything but haddock himself he commented I will talk to the chef when the Caffè closes and slap his legs he offered us a cup of tea or a scoop of ice cream each , we declined his offer,came out as hu...
Spacious restaurant with friendly, efficient staff. The food was delicious and portions were generous and reasonably priced. The only (slight) niggle we had, was that we arrived about 11 and couldn't select from the lunch menu. As that starts at 11.30. So we had breakfasts instead. So perhaps next time we'll go to the nearby Antiques Market which is absolutely massive, then come back for Lunch. But be warned, it can get filled up as it's a popular destination.
No booking,walked in on off chance after visit to antiques unit, welcomed by happy,bubbly,friendly James. Had the carvery, great selection of meat/vegetables that were cooked to perfection, bowls of cranberry, apple,mint sauces on side gravy. Wash down with ice cold apple juice. Can also have jug of ice water at your table. All round lovely,attentive staff. Would revisit.
From the wonderful team, to the lovely atmosphere and background music and the incredible food we had a fantastic experience. The Carvery looked amazing, however we had all day breakfast and cheese and onion quiche, chips and salad. We couldn't fault anything...

Really good.We were at GB antiques and popped over for some food. It was Sunday and were squeezed in (we hadn't booked). Food was really hot and tasty. Service good. Will be back
Excellent food and the Sunday carvery is great value for money. Jan 2024, called in for breakfast which was served fast fresh. Lovely cooked big breakfast and nice coffee.
Very polite and well dressed staff, excellent, prompt service, excellent food and good portion sizes. Coffee was not bad for an English cafe/restaurant. We loved it.
Carvery good value and tasty and plentiful. Not quite as busy as before the pandemic, also fresh and plenty of parking

The only place we go for a Sunday carvery. Service is fantastic, food is good and the price is great value.
Great breakfast, lovely attentive staff. Not the cheapest but it's all about the quality.
