Another fantastic visit to Cowshed! To begin with, we opted for the croquette special (Macaroni cheese with a tomato and jalapeño dip . They were so tasty I could have eaten an entire bowl of them (the photo does not do them justice at all! . We then shared the greedy cow platter which came with 3 different steaks, rump, ribeye and flat iron, all of which were cooked to perfection. The sides were equally as delicious (the savoy cabbage was exceptional a must have! . I didn’t have room for dessert because I, too, was also a greedy cow that evening, (although the toffee bread and butter pudding was very tempting, something that I shall have to go back for! . The staff at this restaurant were amazing - friendly and welcoming as they escorted us to our table. We were seated in a lovely booth on the first floor and were promptly offered tap water. As we perused the menu, the server informed us of the specials, making it difficult to choose. We opted to share the delicious garlic bread, though we regretted not ordering two. For our main course, we both enjoyed perfectly cooked medium rare flat irons, accompanied by a side of fries, garlic mushrooms, pepper sauce, and a particularly outstanding blue cheese sauce. Our second visit to Cowshed Liverpool was truly amazing. Booking a table on their website was easy. Upon arrival, we were greeted by warm and friendly staff. The atmosphere was fantastic, with all staff members being cheerful and friendly. The food was exceptional - we shared the croquet special mac and cheese for starters (which was so delicious we could have eaten a whole bowl), my husband had the special fillet steak on a bed of tagliatelle topped with a sausage and parmesan fritter (which we had last time and it is the best), and I had a fillet steak with blue cheese sauce and fries. Went here after reading the fantastic reviews. We weren't disappointed! I've seen a few reviews saying it has a student vibe about the place, and I can see what people mean, but the restaurant is immaculate and nicely decorated. We found the staff very welcoming and friendly. But the food, wow. We had the sharing steak for two, and it was perfectly cooked. One of the best I've had, the sides the cabbage and Chorizo is amazing. Amazing value for money aswel, sharing steak two sides, and we had an extra side of fries with a glass of wine, and a beer came to just over £70. Would recommend it to anyone. Reserva una mesa ahora

Here again at my favourite Liverpool restaurant hard for me not to have my usual rib eye, fries and bearnaise. Always cooked to perfection. My companion had the special which did look tasty fillet steak and fondant potatoes. We had cocktails, the creamed cabbage side and the bread and butter pudding. Not only is the food reliably good but the staff here are great well trained, friendly and helpful they obviously know the menu very well and are never intrusive when you are dining. I'll be back in the New Year when I'm next in Liverpool.

Six of us Visited for my sons birthday. We had been put on a booth table of 4 with a small table added on to the end which was not the best. The staff could benefit from a uniform. The waiter was very unenthusiastic about telling us the specials and throughout the whole meal was very low energy even when he was meant to singing happy birthday he just put the dessert down and said happy birthday and walked away. The meals we had were very nice but I think the staff could do with some training and the venue could do with a tidy up!

Literally THE BEST steak you’ll ever have. My partner and I had the greedy cow between us with a few extra sides and I can’t fault a thing! If you’re in Liverpool anytime, this is definitely a place you have to visit at least once. Very friendly professional staff and I was always greeted with a smile. Also if you’re not driving, definitely try the mint expresso martini, you won’t be disappointed, it was delicious. I can not wait to visit again

Absolutely superb meal, I had the special, Fillet Steak on a bed of leeks with Fondant potato topped with bacon and cheese and accompanied with a pot of Spinach and Garlic sauce. I recently returned to this restaurant for what I believe is the best steak in Liverpool! The staff are just as delightful as the food. I will definitely be returning again in the future.

Had an amazing meal here yet again! Great food and even better service. Would definitely recommend the sharing platter, great value for money! 10/10 will come back!
