Having been brought up in the Med I have more than a passing insight into espresso, and I can categorically state that I have had coffee that wasn't THIS good in places which are the world standards for espresso such as Milan, Rome, and Naples. Everything about this place is marvelous, right from the spacious and free parking, the fact that the premises are modern and ultra-clean, and the very friendly smiles behind the counter. Then when the espresso is presented, it is nothing short of a revelation. Close you're eyes and you're on the Via Veneto. Congratulations to the management as you have been able to craft a truly magnificent coffee shop!

We visited this cafe/roastery before heading to the British Bobby across the street for a late lunch. The aroma when you enter is heavenly, and there is a comfortable seating area to relax and savor a cup of tea or coffee. They offer a diverse selection of coffees and teas, and their cappuccinos and lattes are delicious. The staff is well-informed and can suggest blends for you to purchase and enjoy at home. Don't miss out on the Sumatra Black Honey coffee - it's fantastic! I enjoyed it so much that I ordered more online after finishing the pound I brought back to Ontario.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming storefront. The aroma of fresh roasting coffee will greet you as you open the door, followed by the cheerful and friendly staff. The variety of speciality coffees, organically grown and sustainably produced, is incredible. Take away a bag or two to try, or stay for a cuppa. Note: seating is limited so a dozen patrons would fill the place, but most people stop in and refill their own mug or get one to go. I was surprised and delighted with the quality and fabulous taste. A must-try for all coffee lovers!

This coffee bar and roastery is located in the industrial area at the entrance to Nanaimo. Although it might not be obvious just off the highway, it's worth checking out to grab a coffee to go or to sit in the cafe. They roast their own beans using some state of the art equipment in the back of the shop, and they also have a nice coffee shop in the front of the shop. Great coffee and really nice staff. Highly recommended! Reserva una mesa ahora

Walked here from our resort to find a good cup of coffee! Boy is this a hidden gem. Staff were very friendly and informative telling us all about their coffee beans and roasting process. Once you have a cup of coffee you’ll be sure to purchase a few bags of beans to take home.

Customer service was excellent, so friendly. The waiting area has a beautiful view of the strait. Nanaimo Bar was the best I've ever had. This is NOT a BC Ferries foodsource it is SO MUCH BETTER!!
