Island sushi rating 4/5<br/ Lower mainland sushi rating 3/5<br/ <br/ All in all it was a good meal. Moderately priced and the staff were really great. If you aren't used to being able to get sushi from places on the mainland then this is likely the some of the best sushi you will find within 100km of here.<br/ <br/ That being said, the rolls were very sloppy and the flavor wasn't quite there. Some more effort into presentation would go a long way as receiving a roll where the rice is falling off isn't my idea of awesome.<br/ <br/ Otherwise the restaurant was clean and the experience was enjoyable.

Thumbs up for this amazing small, cute, and clean sushi spot! Highly recommended. Sam is a sushi legend and his student is following in his footsteps. The food is great, with everything on the menu perfectly priced and well-balanced with perfect seasoning. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and Sam will even make you dishes not on the menu if you ask. The only downside is that they are closed on weekends when you're craving great sushi. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

UP This place has quite a family feel to it. The sushi was pretty good, and prices where very low.<br/ <br/ DOWN Not the largest select on the menu, but a little bit of everything. The parking lot is also a little crazy with stalls pointing in every direction!<br/ <br/ OUT A nice little spot for those who live in the area.

Excellent sushi and tempura. The mixed tempura had delicious prawns and a good mix of veg. We went for the mixed sushi too. Again a good combination. The scallop melted in the mouth. Staff were super nice and friendly. Price was decent too. Highly recommended! Reserva una mesa ahora

Enjoyable food with good presentation. Average pricing and friendly service. The specialty rolls are where Sam's shine. I had the Una-Kyu, Kamikaze and Sunny roll and wasn't disappointed with any of them. Will defenitly be back.

This sushi restaurant is amazing. I have passed by it many times before, but I am glad I decided to stop in today. The portions of fish are huge and the rice is delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The sushi at this restaurant is incredible. It's my absolute favorite spot for sushi, no question. The salmon is especially delicious. If you're ever in the area, this is definitely the best sushi you'll ever have.

Words cannot explain the quality of sushi. Best Negitoro maki ever. It literally melts in my mouth. Always fresh and excellent service. Looking forward to having a lunch/dinner there again. Reserva una mesa ahora

The best sushi I've ever had. The service was great and even custom ordered to our liking. We've become regulars. I only wish they were open on the weekends!
