Cozzi Corner Hot Dogs, Beef Catering

We had passed by this hidden gem many times, always saying we needed to stop in. We finally did, and we were so glad we did. On our first visit, I ordered a gyro - a simple sandwich, but it was made very well. On our second and third visits, we tried the Italian beef sandwich, which was made perfectly. The fries were always hot, and the customer service was fantastic. Even when they were busy, we were able to get in and out quickly with our food still piping hot.

The food is top-notch, earning a solid 5 rating. The service is also excellent, with a score of 5. The atmosphere could use a little improvement, with a rating of 4. Always good. Traditional Chicago hot dogs. Vienna meats. Polish is good because it's Vienna but not your big Maxwell type. Fairly reasonable, just not used to the prices these days. Still less than most other joints around. Service is fast and friendly. Parking: Parking is plentiful unless there is a car show. Every Tuesday night during the summer. Even then not bad. Takeout meal for dinner was excellent. The food and service both scored a perfect 5, however the atmosphere was only a 4. I would highly recommend trying the Vienna Beef dish.
